Newhaven Archery Club has a number of locations at which our members are able to shoot throughout the year.
Our Field
The club’s dedicated shooting field is in a beautiful location nestling under the South Downs near Lewes.
We have a kitchen area, bbq and the other necessary facilities that, subject to safety restrictions and weather conditions, enable members to shoot most days of the year.
Wood & ‘Field’ shoots
We are also very lucky to have access to a beautiful Sussex wood, which we use for both ‘field shoots’ and fun shooting events such as our annual bluebell shoot. These events, subject to weather conditions, are held all year round.
Winter Indoors
During the winter season, as well as some occasional winter shoots or informal practice sessions outdoors at the field, the club arranges the use of an academy hall for Friday club nights, Sunday afternoon practice & matches and Wednesday evening junior club.
