Upcoming Events

If you’re interested in having a go at archery, or you’ve already dabbled but now you fancy becoming a proper archer, then we’ve got some exciting events coming up for you!

Open Day 15th of April, 2017

On Saturday the 15th of April, 2017 from 10am to 4pm we’re having our annual open day and have-a-go where you can come along and, yes you guessed it, have a go at archery completely free!

There’ll be plenty of experienced archers available to give you a helping hand and if you find yourself enjoying it so much you won’t want to leave, there’s our trusty tea shed on-site with lots of lovely refreshments.  But don’t worry if  you drink too much tea, we do have on-site toilet facilities 😉

Beginners Course 29th of April & 6th of May, 2017

Once you’ve got the bug from the open day we just happen to be running our annual beginners shortly afterwards.  The course is spread over two days, the first on the 29th of April, 2017 and the second on the 6th of May, 2017 10am to 4pm on both days.  We charge the standard fee of £60 for the course which should provide you with all the knowledge and experience you need to shoot safely and confidently.  Provided this is the case, you’ll then receive your archery GB beginners course certificate which allows you to join any Archery GB affiliated archery club.  Of course we hope that once you’ve sampled the delights of our club you won’t want to join anywhere else 🙂  Further information is available here: BEGINNERS_COURSE_INFORMATION_2017 PDF and the application form can be downloaded here: BEGINNERS_COURSE_APPLICATION_FORM_APRIL MAY 2017 PDF

2017 NAC Western Open Tournament

We will be running our popular open Western tournament this year on the 14th of May, 2017 with sighters scheduled for 10:30am.  As usual we’ll have our tea shed full to the brim with cakes and other refreshments to keep you going throughout the day.  Entrance fees are £8 for adults and £4 for children and the entry form has been emailed to previous entrants or can be downloaded here: NAC Western Tournament entry form 2017 PDF.  Please book early to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited.  We look forward to seeing you there!
